Terry Riske
Elder
Terry and Vivian first moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1992 from Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Canada so that Terry could open up a family medicine practice in Hayden. They first started attending the church that same year. Terry and Vivian have been married 43 years and have three children and three grandchildren, which are the love of their lives. They have a very musical family. So music has been a very special part of his life and devotion time every day. Missions have played a significant role in Terry’s walk with the Lord
with him and his family involved in multiple mission experiences from Haiti to India and Tibet. In his spare time, he loves to be on the lake, hiking and creating things whether it’s in his garden or in his workshop.
Over the years Terry‘s passion has been to build into young men’s lives. Initially, this was through an organization called Boarders for Christ, which was a skateboard ministry. He has always had a ministry to men with his passion being to build them up in the Lord so they can do the same to other men. He and Vivian have also consistently lead a small group or Bible study which allows them to live life with people and encourage them in the Lord and in their marriages.
