Buddy Holton

Pastor Buddy Holton grew up in Greenleaf, a small town in Southern Idaho. At a youth group Bible quizzing event in high school he met a beautiful young woman, Tessa, who would later become his wife. Buddy and Tessa were married in 2006 and have been blessed with two incredible sons – Abraham and Moses. Buddy loves hunting, hiking, gardening and pretty much anything outdoors, where he feels most intimately connected with his Creator.

Since 2008, Buddy has served in several different roles on staff at Anthem. Initially hired as youth pastor, Buddy fell in love with teaching God’s Word with passion and creativity, as well as encouraging others in their walk with Christ. After several years Buddy transitioned to the role of associate pastor, where he began regularly teaching on Sunday mornings and overseeing various ministries, such as Anthem’s Global Mission team. Buddy and Tessa feel a burning passion for global missions and hope to fan that flame in others as well. Buddy now serves as lead pastor of Anthem Hayden.
